Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you book your Alberta adventure.

Booking & General

Sunrise tours (June–September): 4–6 weeks ahead. Standard day tours: 2–3 weeks. Multi-day packages: 6–8 weeks. Winter tours have more availability but holiday periods book fast. We recommend booking as early as possible.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your tour for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours receive a 50% refund. No refunds for no-shows. We strongly recommend travel insurance for multi-day packages.
Yes — 365 days a year. Summer tours (June–September) focus on Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, Banff and the Icefields Parkway. Winter tours (October–April) specialise in frozen lakes, the Gondola and Hot Springs. Drumheller tours run year-round.
We collect you from your hotel, Airbnb or YYC Airport. Common pickups include the Coast Hotel (610 4 Ave SW), Best Western Plus MacLeod Trail, Westin Calgary and most major downtown hotels. If your address isn’t listed, contact us.

Moraine Lake

No. Parks Canada permanently closed the Moraine Lake road to private vehicles in January 2023. The only way to access Moraine Lake is via a licensed commercial operator (like us) or the Parks Canada shuttle lottery. Our permit guarantees your access — no lottery required.
Yes. Our Parks Canada commercial operator licence and Moraine Lake access are fully included in every tour that visits Moraine Lake. You will not pay anything extra for access.

Drumheller & Badlands

Drumheller is approximately 138 km east of Calgary — about 90 minutes by road. The drive itself is interesting as you watch the flat Alberta prairies gradually give way to the dramatic canyon landscape of the Badlands. Your guide narrates this geological transition.
The Royal Tyrrell Museum is an optional add-on at approximately $23 per adult. We allocate sufficient time for a full visit if you choose to include it. Let us know at booking and we’ll factor it into the day’s schedule. It is absolutely worth it.

What to Bring

Layer up — mountain weather changes quickly. Even in July, temperatures at Moraine Lake (1,885m) can be 8–10°C cooler than Calgary. Always bring: waterproof jacket, fleece mid-layer, and sturdy footwear with grip. In winter: insulated pants and waterproof gloves. We send a full packing checklist at booking confirmation.
Complimentary coffee and/or hot drinks are included on most tours. Meals are not included — Banff Townsite, Lake Louise Village and Drumheller all have excellent dining options. We allocate 1–1.5 hours of free time for lunch at each destination.

Fleet & Groups

Our fleet covers every group size: Cars & SUVs (5–7 guests) for private transfers; Transit Vans (10–15) for families and corporate groups; Minibuses (22–24) for small group tours; and Luxury Coaches (40–54) for large group tours and corporate events. All vehicles are modern, air-conditioned and fully insured.
Yes — our Luxury Coaches seat 40–54 guests with AC, comfortable seating and luggage storage. We specialise in corporate transfers, team-building excursions and conference tourism. Contact us for a custom group quote.

Payment & Security

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) via Stripe, and PayPal. All payments are secured with SSL encryption. A 25% deposit secures your booking; the balance is due 48 hours before your tour date.
Yes. Card payments are processed by Stripe — a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. We never store your card details on our servers. PayPal payments use PayPal’s own secure vault. Every transaction is SSL encrypted.
