One of the most photographed lakes in all of Canada, Bow Lake sits serenely at the foot of Crowfoot Glacier along the world-famous Icefields Parkway. Its glassy, glacier-fed waters reflect the surrounding peaks and clouds in stunning, mirror-like perfection. At 1,920 metres above sea level, the alpine setting feels wonderfully remote yet is easy to access roadside. The historic Num-Ti-Jah Lodge, perched on its shores, adds a rustic charm that enhances the experience. Short walking trails lead to the lakeshore for closer views of the glacier and surrounding terrain. Bow Lake is a crown jewel of the Parkway and a true highlight of any Rocky Mountain journey.
