Often called the ‘Niagara of the West,’ Lundbreck Falls is one of Alberta’s most impressive and least crowded waterfalls. The Crowsnest River drops approximately 12 metres in a wide, powerful curtain of white water that creates a constant mist and thunderous roar. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty, with rolling foothills and the distant peaks of the Rockies framing the scene. A short walk from the parking area leads to excellent viewpoints directly above and beside the falls. This is a favourite spot for fishermen, photographers, and families seeking a dramatic natural experience off the beaten path. Lundbreck Falls is a spectacular and refreshingly uncrowded gem of southern Alberta.
